MVA's Story

We began in 1983 as Mountain View Trailriding, a small outfit offering hourly trail rides to tourists and locals. Growing steadily, we moved to our current location and expanded to offer riding lessons and our first overnight camps beginning in 1987. In 1990 we expanded our programs again to offer schools and other groups an affordable field trip experience. In 2007 we overhauled our image to incorporated our growing services and were re-named Mountain View Adventures. Today, we pride our selves on our flexible programs and exciting but safe horseback adventures.

Our Mission...

Our mission is to provide safe, fun and affordable horse related experiences to children and adults in the northwest region of British Columbia. The purpose of MVA is to give children and adults a better sense of themselves by building their confidence and self esteem. We accomplish this through the use of horses and other animals on our farm to engage participants in the great outdoors, while they can have more fun than imaginable!
