| The” Fort" was designed and build by Peter, who incorporated practical aspects with the wish of every kid for some adventure. Palisades & towers offer lots of fun and the tree house is roomy enough for several people. Accommodations are rustic and dorm style, but running water and electric heat take the sting out of "camping" During hot summer days the kids often drag their sleeping bags to the roomy porches and camp there for the night. Two bedrooms with bunk beds sleep 12 and 18 campers. Three separate small bedrooms with bunk beds offer room for up to 6 supervisors or staff members. The kitchen is fully equipped and makes preparing tasty meals a breeze. The dining room also doubles as an activity centre in the evenings or on rainy days. Beside the fort we situated a propane powered BBQ and a campfire area for evening sing-along or simply resting around a fire. A spacey flat area in front of the Fort offers room for ball- and other games. The newly installed horseshoe pit offers additional entertainment during free time. | ||
